With a stunning recreation of a 20’s theme, Miss India’s evening gown begins with a blousing top portion of gown in unusual peach silk blend velvet shag that features a very high neck, dolman sleeves, and blousing throughout torso which tapers inwards at thighs.
Both front and back of this extraordinary top has been richly patterned with abstract shapes and filigree styling.
Top has been exquisitely and painstakingly hand-beaded to match original in mixed sequins and seed beads in shades of, but not limited to: forest green, lemon sherbet, pastel yellow, gold metallic, tomato, silver, amber, deepest pine green, black, garnet, bronze, celery, yellow and berry – truly one of our most incredibly beaded masterpieces!
High collar has also been smothered in hand-sewn beadwork.
Top has been furthermore enhanced with edges of dolman sleeves being replaced with matching silk blend velvet shag in mango with zigzag edging.
This same method has been used to create the large patterning at both center front and back, using same mango silk blend velvet shag.
In addition, black velvet circles and triangles have been embossed onto fabric and then bedecked with hand-sewn beadwork.
At thighs, mango colored silk blend velvet shag takes over gown and continues to taper inwards to shins while featuring a center slit.
Slit has been accented on both sides with added panels of peach silk blend velvet shag that has been richly hand-beaded in sequins and seed beads.
Remainder of mango skirting has been bedecked with scattered hand-beaded accents in seed bead circles.
Emanating from beneath the mango silk blended velvet shag is a long flowing skirt of lush 100% silk charmeuse in a deep Hyacinth orange which features a decadent and very art deco train.
A golden filigree fan features orange silk charmeuse sandwiched between complete with lush orange ostrich feathers.
Fan has been decadently adorned with a tassel of hand-sewn seed beads, orange and gold rhinestone charms and genuine Swarovski crystal bi-cones.
Hyacinth orange rhinestone studs in gold settings adorn ears.
A headband of delicate burnished gold chain features a burnished gold and Hyacinth orange rhinestone charm.
