From the stunning island of Jersey, owned by the British but off the coast of Normandy comes this most delectable delegate in an extravagant evening gown inspired by Dior’s Fall 2007 couture show.
Miss Jersey turns heads in her stunning period evening gown in 100% silk taffeta and hand-sewn beadwork.
This intricately created evening gown begins with a bodice in soft pink 100% silk taffeta that has been adorned with a delicate overlay of matching pink tulle.
Bodice features mutton short sleeves in same silk taffeta also featuring an overlay of matching pink tulle.
Bodice has been extravagantly enhanced with dripping genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestone chain that has been hand-sewn onto gown in a rich pattern of scalloping and draping.
In addition, bodice has been richly embellished with hand-sewn beadwork of mixed sequins and seed beads in crystal and crystal aurora borealis.
Genuine Swarovski crystal bi-cones have also been added throughout bodice.
Finally, scattered shimmering genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestones have been added.
Sleeves have been richly accented in a hand-beaded pattern incorporating sequins, seed beads, and shimmering Swarovski crystal rhinestones and bi-cones all in shades of crystal and crystal aurora borealis.
Bodice attaches to a dramatic matching pink peplum that travels from front to back of gown and has also been bedecked with a layer of pink tulle.
Peplum has been gorgeously embellished with hand-sewn beadwork to matching bodice and sleeves.
Peplum gives way to a painstakingly and intricately created ball skirt in matching pink 100% silk taffeta.
Main portion of this grand ball skirt consists of 8 tiered and ruffled layers of pink silk taffeta each overlaid with matching pink tulle.
At right side of gown, tiers have been replaced with dramatically ruched matching pink silk taffeta which has also been overlaid in ruched pink tulle.
Several portions of this ruched side of gown have been stunningly adorned with shimmering hand-sewn beadwork to match bodice’s beadwork also incorporating brilliant dangling hand-sewn crystal aurora borealis Swarovski briolettes.
Miss Jersey dons a period hat in white horsehair which has been richly embellished with an organza brim, custom made organza flowers in deep and pale pink and completely accented with hand-sewn beadwork.
Exquisite drop earrings in cubic zirconia teardrops and silver and rhinestone filigree.
Wrist accented with a genuine Swarovski crystal bi-cones beaded bracelet.
