Miss Seychelles wears a two piece evening gown that is one of NiniMomo’s earlier designs from 1997. It begins with a sexy bandeau style top in a swirled pattern that wraps around neck as in a halter, covers left breast, stretches around back to front to cover right breast.
Material chosen is a lush, panne velvet in a two tone champagne-gold with peony-peach undertones. Bandeau top has been gorgeously edged with hand-sewn beaded cluster rows of mixed champagne, gold metallic, peach, pink and pale pink seed beads. Center of bandeau finished with scattered clusters of deep peony, salmon, copper, champagne, peach and pinks seed beads, hand-sewn of course!
A sexy, flared skirt in same panne velvet has been adorned with a swirled pattern of hand-sewn that plays off bandeau unusual styling. Beadwork used is a mix of various seed beads and sequins, different sizes, shapes, layerings, all in shades that play off gowns gorgesous coloring.
A real showpiece is the accompanying super-rich evening coat in pleated salmon silk that is threaded throughout with an unusual two-tone gold sheen. Coat features flared sleeves and has been specially lined with imported Indian metallic silk in24K gold threading with a subtle floral motif – truly stunning!
