Miss Tahiti is the queen of the mermaids in her evening gown that begins with a long sleeved, nude, sheer sparkle knit top that has been gorgeous finished in hand-sewn clusters of crystal and silver seed beads along collar and cuffs. In addition, scatterings of hand-sewn seed beads have been added along arm.
A breast plate of custom brushed metallic gold and silver filigree adorned her chest and has been accented with a plethora of tiny genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestones in aurora borealis and crystal finishes.
Upper edge and lower edge of bodice have been finished with custom dyed metallic gold lace which has been adorned with rows of hand-sewn faceted clear and iridescent sequins with gold seed bead centers.
Hand-sewn gold seed bead filigrees have been added as well to lace complete with accents of shimmering aurora borealis rhinestones.
Breasts have been adorned with mother of pearl chips and entire bodice has been accented throughout with clusters of hand-sewn seed beads in gold, silver and crystal.
This intricately designed bodice gives way to a slim-fitting mermaid style skirt in a custom metallic brushed crème crepe complete with flounce that begins at shins in panels of sheer deconstructed organza, also custom brushed with a metallic finish.
Skirt has been covered in hand-sewn flat pearl and clear sequins and matching clear seed bead centers featuring very unusual vintage holograph sequins. This fish-scale inspired beadwork has been further enhanced with a custom metallic brushed finish.
