Miss West Virginia steps out in a gown that took just under 2 yards of 100% silk charmeuse ivory which is incredible for a 1:6 size form!
This lush ball gown begins with an ivory floral brocade base which has been covered in hundreds of individually made 100% silk charmeuse petals, EACH OF WHICH HAS BEEN LINED, in graduated sizes.
Once this mass of lined silk charmeuse petals have been made, they have been sewn onto the brocade base in multiple tiers with largest petals at bottom.
Tiers of petals travel up to waist where a bodice in ivory silk charmeuse has been created.
Bodice has been painstakingly covered in custom cut ivory silk charmeuse tiny petals, all of which have been hand-sewn onto bodice in a rich and lush pattern.
Custom created tiny silk charmeuse flowers have also been fabricated and hand-sewn onto bodice and all have received a genuine Swarovski crystal rhinestone square center.
Bodice features billowy puffed 100% silk chiffon sleeves in matching ivory.
Cuffs of sleeves, in same silk chiffon, have been richly decorated with hand-sewn beadwork in white seed beads.
Dramatic shoulders of bodice have been finished in several hand-made ivory chiffon petals which stand lie spikes along shoulder.
Spiraling down ball skirt are custom made ivory silk charmeuse piping vines which have been tacked down throughout skirt.
Attached to these vines are custom made tiny matching ivory silk charmeuse petals, many of which feature tips of genuine Swarovski crystal bicones.
